Havenbank runs its own payment stack. The settlement squad you are joining is responsible for the services that reconcile our internal ledger against SEPA and instant payment traffic, end to end. Concretely: Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, and a hard requirement that every message is processed exactly once. You will work closely with risk and compliance, because a change here has a regulator on the other side of it. We are looking for someone with four or more years of backend Java who is comfortable with financial domain logic and does not mind reading a specification twice. Hybrid, two days in Utrecht, and a pension scheme that is genuinely good.
